The Last Resort ist die neueste Menschenrechts- und Sterbehilfeorganisation der Schweiz. The Last Resort ist die einzige Organisation, die kostenlose Sterbehilfe anbietet.<\/p>\n

Am 23. September 2024 hat The Last Resort den ersten Einsatz des Sarco in einem Waldst\u00fcck im Kanton Schaffhausen veranstaltet.<\/p>\n

Der Sarco wurde von einer schwerkranken Frau aus dem mittleren Westen Amerikas benutzt. Die Frau verlor innerhalb von 2 Minuten das Bewusstsein und starb 7 Minuten sp\u00e4ter.<\/p>\n

Die Schaffhauser Staatsanwaltschaft verhaftete daraufhin den TLR-Pr\u00e4sidenten Florian Willet und nahm ihn f\u00fcr 70 Tage in Haft. Auch die Anw\u00e4lte der Organisation wurden verhaftet! Alle wurden schlie\u00dflich freigelassen.<\/p>\n

Das Sarco-Projekt begann 2012, als Philip Nitschke gebeten wurde, eine Maschine zu entwickeln, die einem Mann mit dem Locked-in-Syndrom helfen k\u00f6nnte, seinen eigenen Tod zu bestimmen.<\/p>\n

Die 3D-gedruckte Sarco-Kapsel funktioniert, indem die Luft (und der Sauerstoff) in der Kapsel rasch durch reinen Stickstoff ersetzt wird. In dieser Umgebung mit wenig Sauerstoff und Kohlendioxid stirbt der Anwender schnell und friedlich.<\/p>\n
