The Last Resort \u00e8 la pi\u00f9 recente organizzazione svizzera per i diritti umani e il suicidio assistito. \u00c8 l’unica organizzazione a offrire un servizio di suicidio assistito gratuito.<\/p>\n

Il 23 settembre 2024, The Last Resort ha ospitato il primo utilizzo del Sarco in un ritiro nella foresta nel cantone di Sciaffusa.<\/p>\n

Il Sarco \u00e8 stato utilizzato da una donna gravemente malata del Midwest americano. La donna perse conoscenza entro 2 minuti e mor\u00ec 7 minuti dopo.<\/p>\n

Il procuratore di Sciaffusa avrebbe arrestato e detenuto il presidente della TLR Florian Willet per 70 giorni. Anche gli avvocati dell’organizzazione furono arrestati! Alla fine sono stati tutti rilasciati.<\/p>\n

Il progetto Sarco \u00e8 iniziato nel 2012, quando a Philip Nitschke \u00e8 stato chiesto di progettare un macchinario per aiutare un uomo affetto dalla sindrome \u201clocked-in\u201d a prendere controllo della propria morte.<\/p>\n

La capsula Sarco stampata in 3D funziona sostituendo rapidamente l’aria (e l’ossigeno) all’interno della capsula con azoto allo stato puro. In un ambiente simile una persona muore rapidamente e serenamente.<\/p>\n
